The GJ Day Electrical team is an experienced group of electrical engineers with a shared passion for high quality execution of cost efficient projects. The business has been established for over 25 years and we hold the key accreditations to undertake all scale of electrical work from one-off house rewires to complete industrial design, installation with building control on completion.‍

The work that we undertake is often pre-planned within a detailed consultant service project, however we do often meet with our clients to discuss ideas and manage the entire project to completion using our unique GJ DAY PROCESS. The projects that we cover include Residential properties, Commercial/Industrial projects within office and warehouse space, School installations and Testing/Fault Finding including condition reporting and visual inspections in new and listed buildings.

Our Full NICEIC Accreditation allows us to certify and register all electrical Installations with building control on completion. We are fully certified & Trustmark endorsed in accordance with the BS 7671 IEE wiring regulation (including approved document-part P). NIC EIC APPROVED

We hold full NICEIC Accreditation enabling us to certify Commercial and Domestic Installations this also incorporates UKAS accreditation. We can design, install and certificate providing full compliance with BS 7671 18th Edition.

PART P ELECTRICAL SAFETY

We offer a selection of services for all types of domestic works ranging from minor electrical alterations to high-end residential refurbishment works. Providing Part P certification on each project gives our clients peace of mind.

CELEBRATING 25 YEARS

We offer a selection of services for industrial premises. We conduct all 3-Phase electrical work and issue completion certificates for all works carried out. From minor works to Electrical Installation and Emergency Safety Lighting.

CITY & GUILDS ACCREDITED

All our Engineers are City and Guilds trained with our apprentices also attending day release college training. These IVQ qualifications give our specialist knowledge and skills in all areas with knowledge of technical design principles.
